Rev. Dr. William L. Thompson, JP, Th.D., CMG - (Chairman)

Rev. Dr. Thompson was born in Hartswell, Exuma. He attended the Eastern Senior School, Nassau, and Greer Technical Institute, Chicago, Ill. where he obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Rev. Dr. Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology & Theology from American Baptist Theological Seminary, Nashville, TN., a Master of Science (Psychology) from Tennessee State University, Nashville, TN, a Master of Divinity Degree and Doctorate of Theology both from Emmanuel Bible College, Nashville, TN.

He has worked as an Educator at C.C. Sweeting Senior High School (1981-1992) and a Guidance Counselor at Jordan Prince Williams High School. Rev. Dr. Thompson is the Senior Pastor of Faith United Missionary Baptist Church (1981-present) and worked on various Boards and Committees: Chairman, Bahamas Against Crime (2007-present), Member Personal Committee B.W.A. (2010-present), President, Caribbean Baptist Fellowship (2010 – present), Chairman, Legal Aid Clinic (2002), Cultural Committee (2002-2007), Advisor to the Minister for Regatta (2007-2008), Member/Sir Lynden Pindling Foundation to name a few.

He is also affiliated with numerous Churches: Mission Baptist Church, Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, Nashville, TN., Bethel Baptist Church, Drakesboro, KY, Faith United Missionary Baptist Church, Faith Line Radio & Television (Speaker) and is the founder of Faith Way Christian Academy.

Rev. Dr. Thompson has also preached on several continents, counties and cities: Yugoslavia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, Seoul Korea, China, Jordan, Jerusalem, Egypt, Africa, Brazil, East German, Haiti, Cuba, Canada, the Caribbean , Santo Domingo, North America and Great Britain.

Brian Seymour - Deputy Chairman

Brian N. Seymour was born on June 24th, 1959 to Felix A. Seymour and Cleomi A. Seymour (deceased) in Nassau, Bahamas. He attended St. Anne’s Primary and High School until the family relocated to Freeport, Grand Bahama in 1973 one day after Independence. He completed high school at Freeport High School now renamed Bishop Michael Eldon High School. After graduating high school, Mr. Seymour continued his education at Lindsey Hopkins Vocational & Technical School in Miami, Florida and obtained a certificate in Upholstery in 1979.

Thereafter, he joined the family business Antoinette’s Interiors and have been employed there ever since. In 2002, he assume management responsibilities for the company.

Brian Seymour is married to Kathleen Grant-Seymour; and father to five adult children and a grandfather to six grandchildren. He worships at Freeport Gospel Chapel. Seymour served as a Sponsored Youth Advisor for Kiwanis Key Clubs; he also is a past President of Kiwanis Club of Freeport.

His interest includes gardening, and the study of history.

Jacqueline Simmons - Director

An attorney by profession Ms. Jacqueline Simmons holds an LLB (Hons.) degree from the University of London. She was called to the Bahamas Bar in 1994 and is a member of the Bahamas Bar Association.

In 1996 Ms. Simmons established Simmons & Company a law firm providing legal services in the areas of real estate law, company law, construction law, family law, wills and estates and civil litigation. Ms. Simmons also donates her time to various civic organizations and community initiatives.

She is a long standing member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church and is known in her spare time to enjoy a good book and interior decorating.

Winston Moss - Director

Mr. Moss is currently employed with The National Insurance Board as a Senior Manager, with direct responsible for Industrial Accident Unit and the Short Term Benefit Claims Dept. Mr. Moss has been employed with The Board since its inception in October 1974, some thirty nine (39) years. Mr. Moss was hired as a Clerk and has worked his way up the ranks to Claims Officer, Inspector, Local Office Manager, Assistant Manager, Sr. Assistant Manager to Sr. Manager.

Mr. Moss is a graduate of St. Augustine College and has advance Management training with Diplomas from the University of Miami. He also had extensive training in Industrial Labour Relations and is currently serving as President of The Public Managers Union which represents middle managers at The National Insurance Board, Bahamas Air Holding LTD. and The College of the Bahamas.

Mr. Moss is married and has three children all who are also currently married.
